This site contains free Mathematics and Digital Technologies lessons for the Australian Curriculum for all years of schooling, with most of the resources target at senior high school students in Years 11 and 12 doing subjects such as Mathematical Methods, Specialist, General, Essentials, Queensland Mathematics A, B, C, Information Processing and Technology (IPT) and Digital solutions.
The maths / IT lessons are in the form of flipped classroom videos. Flipped classroom is the concept that students watch videos to learn new concepts (either at home or in class), pausing / replaying the video when needed, so that each student can learn at thir own pace. The teacher will get more one-on-one time engaging with each student instead of standing at the front lecturing to the whole class. More class time can also be spent on projects that involve higher order thinking, rather than teacher explanation.
The magic monk's learning motto: Nothing is too hard if you break it down into little steps. Don't try to learn too much at once. Go through each tutorial numerous times, do the practice questions, make sure you are comfortable with it before advancing to the next tutorial.
Many tutorials are accompanied by online quizzes and worksheets which you can do before, during or after you watch the video. Every quiz comes with fully worked solutions.
