Trigonometric graphs lesson 6 – Horizontal translation part 1

In this video we talk about how to shift the curve y=sin(x) to the right or to the left, by adding a constant inside the bracket e.g. by writing y=sin(x+c) this will move the curve to the left by c units. This only works when coefficient of x is 1. In the next video we will discuss what to do if the coefficient is not 1.
